I'll start by saying "Nothing Can Keep Me from You" was absolute nonsense. The reason for this topic was today, on a really old desk in our library, I saw someone long ago had carved "KISS" into the wood, complete with the lightning bolts for S's. The early 80's were a period of transformation for this band, once known to put on kick ass concerts and put a town to a halt for at least a week everytime they passed through. They turned into little more than a circus act and actually started to sound like Michael Jackson in my opinon.

as far as bands with lightning bolts in their logos go, i'm totally on the AC/DC side of the barricade.
i never really hit it off with Kiss.

I think "I Was Made for Loving You" is a brilliant song. I really do.
Even though they stole the bass line for it from Pink Floyd's "Pigs"...

Furthermore... I never really got into KISS that much...
