How come no one has started this topic yet? Some of you talk about this game, but no one makes a thread for it. I recently played it, and believe it to be one of the best games ever made.
Now go on! Talk about how you feel for this game. _________________ Lo------? |

Video Game shooters suck on consoles (except Goldeneye of course), but fps on pc is so much better. _________________ "Gravitation cannot be held responsible for people falling in love." - Albert Einstein |

This game made me cry for joy. I love it alot. Honestly the best game on the 360. Splinter Cell: Double Agent was a freakin' sweet game, but it lived this moment for short when Gears of War came out. If you are in fact a gamer, casual or hardcore, you just can not hate this game. It may have dashed one of your favorite games, but if you play it, you'll know why it crushed the competition. Long summary short: Gears of War is amazing.
It's my new Halo. Well, at lest until 3 comes out. _________________ Only the strongest will survive.

| Gears of War is without a doubt, the best shooter I have ever played. As my friends and I call it, it's a Halo killer. |

Indeed, this game is orgasmic. I even bought the special edition art book for an uber-high price.
Now if you'll excuse me, I need my fix of Locust-based genocide... |

Yeah the game is OK. I played it for a little bit on our HD TV, and the graphics are great, but the gameplay is pretty tough, even on casual, and after about five beatdowns, I was finally able to use the chainsaw... mmm satisfying. _________________ "Gravitation cannot be held responsible for people falling in love." - Albert Einstein |

I have yet to be chainsawed in my entire online career, my torque bow is really good at preventing such things. And Gears of War will outdo Halo3 because Gears is also going to be a trilogy. Go to wikipedia and read for yourself, the developers made a plot for one 3episode game, and part 2 is already in the works.
Oh, and if anyone ever feels like exploding by the hands of god, my XBL gamertag is: AAATripper, go ahead and send me a friend request with aLp somewhere in the text so I'll know.
Wiki quote: [34] Gears lead designer Cliff Bleszinski said he hoped for the game to expand into graphic novels and eventually film.[35] On November 21, 2006, Microsoft Corporate VP of Global Marketing and Interactive Entertainment Business Jeff Bell stated Gears of War is the first in a trilogy, through sequences on E-Day and the battle of Jacinto Plateau, as well as information on Adam Fenix and his reseach (which the character finds in Gears.) _________________

| I like Gears, although I'm still on Act 2 on Hardcore. I really enjoy the Gears forum, although it has mellowed some. There aren't many, "I just played a girl on GEARS!" threads, but there are still plenty of "WHHAAA!!! I CAN'T PLAY WITH MY FRIENDS ON RANKED MATCHES!!!" I love it *L* |
