Well, to get back on the topic of Meatloaf's music... I don't really like the music enough to buy an album or even download it, but when I do hear a song, it tends to stick in my head a very long time. And I once heard that that is a feature of a good song.
Then again, a lot of stuff sticks in my head...

I beg to differ. I think the definition of good pop music is not whether or not a song gets stuck in your head, but whether or not it contains a tune that you would like to hum. According to this definition, Meat Loaf made some amazing songs.
