That's actually quite hard... especially when you play it on top of a skyscraper and there's a strong wind... _________________

Who has ever played "Fireball"? The Game where you light a tennis ball on fire and try to catapult it with a spoon into a bowl 10-12 yards away? _________________

Battlefield 2142, way too easy. Once the Pilum is in your arsenal of unlocks there's no such thing as a dangerous mech. _________________

That's actually what happened the first time I played the game, too. I am the queen of that game, esp. when it involves slapping doubles. Spent most of my free time in German class playing Rapture, and some hated playing with me due to my advantage. Pays to have long, beautiful nails. |

It's a card game that involves a few rules to it. Usually you play with 2-4 people and deal out the cards. Each person puts down a card until a face card (Jack, Queen, King, or Ace) comes up. If it's a Jack, the person following them has 1 chance (2 chances if a Queen, 3 for a King, and 4 for an Ace) to put down a face card. If the person puts down a face card, then the next person has however many chances for that face card, and if they don't put down a face card, then the person who did put down the face card get the whole pile of cards. The point of the game is to get all the cards. There's also other rules that are stated at the beginning of the game like slapping doubles or slapping sandwiches (three of spades, ten of clubs, three of hearts). Whoever slaps first, gets all the cards in the pile. I know it sounds complicated, but you get the hang of it fast.
Whew, what an explanation! _________________ When life hands you lemons, you make some lemonade. When life hands you a 7-8 foot tall Yautja male...you make short work of him...and leave it up to your imagination. |

Ah, yes, I know that game. Played it a lot in the bar... overhere we call it "meppen" which translates to "slamming"... or something like it.
Didn't know about the sandwich rule though... _________________

Somehow, that's a suitable name.
The sandwich rule is one I try to downplay as it merely adds to the confusion of the game. But others (who wish to use that to their advantage) sometimes call that rule at the beginning, so it makes the game a bit more difficult to play. _________________ When life hands you lemons, you make some lemonade. We also have this rule that when a player runs out of cards, he is still in the game. He can slam doubles, and if he does succesfully, he regains cards. This can make a game with more than 2 players go on for hours _________________
