| A "How to Draw" sort of thing of aliens and predators. I don't need it but it would be very useful is anyone has seen such a thing. |

Given the relative obscurity of the subject matter I doubt you'll find an entire book about drawing aliens and predators. However, what you can do is just look at aliens and predators a lot. Consider buying some of the comics too (Dark Horse comics made a sorts of comic books based in the Alien and Predator universes, and in fact it was there where the idea to merge the two originated), and look at how various artists went about drawing them. I think you'll find there is considerable variety. If you're an artistically inclined fellow, you'll probably be able to figure it out on your own. _________________ Before you criticise a man, walk a mile in his shoes.....that way, when you do criticise him, you'll be a mile away and have his shoes.

You find out on your own. That's what I found to be the best way. Sure it maight not be the absolute best at first but it will get alot better after learning your own style and technique. _________________

Hmmm... I made a colouring book of my own photos for christmas gift for my friends few years ago. It's quite easy to do it yourself if you have photoshop or something and lots and lots of time. But you need to choose the right photos.
I see a great business idea here. _________________ "Weeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee!" |

Yes they are! My bro is like t3h ub3r m4s73r (omg, leet!) of drawing predators. He taught me once, but it was friggin hard.
I would reccomend tracing them, then freehanding, like Dark said. That's how I learned to draw Constitution Class ships, but no one cares *sits in a dark corner and sobs quietly* _________________

I'm choosing to believe that by "my Slave 1" you actually mean "my Firespray". _________________ You can't look dignified when you're having fun.

No, I mean the Slave 1, which is indeed a Firespray, but it's name is Slave 1. _________________

I highly doubt that. The Slave 1 is only as big as about 2/3 of the saucer section of a Constitution ship. And also, the Slave 1 ship only has the power of deflectors, whereas the Constitution has deflector screens AND an individual shield generator. Plus, the Constitution's photon torpedoes would rip through the slave 1 like a hot knife through butter.
Gah, my inner nerd is showing more than usual. Must...watch...sports... _________________

Ah, the thoughts from artists as Trekkies. Or is it Trekkies as artists? Oh, whatever! Holy crap, it's Spock, you need to put up a piccy of the Constitution ship. That way others could care...or learn to care. |

Okay... It's a dog alien- they're the easiest to draw! Its not very good thought...
Okay step one... Start with the outline of the body and the head...
Get your arms and legs on there
Put on a little mouth detail... And the "Tubes" on the neck and belly
Carve in the top of the belly/back and neck, theyre basically weird looking ribs/spines
Outline the Legs and Arms to give em muscular shape...
Spine and Ribs!
Erase the bubles of the body, clean it up...
Put bones on the outside of the legs...
Do the same on the rest of the legs...
Fill in all the tubes with lines... Same with the muscular part of the legs...
Get the spine detail on the tail... Just a bunch of ribs....
Shade in the head and leave a couple bubbles for the appearance of light spots and gloss... Finished!
Maybe one of these days I'll do an alien face/drone or queen. _________________
