Ok. I don't think this has been done yet, and if it has, I'm sorry.
Post your top ten favorite movies. Can be in order, but it doesn't matter.
p.s.- This is a hard thing to do of the top of your head. I'll post my list later. _________________ You forget one thing: rock crushes scissors. But paper covers rock... and

since it's a trend already, no particular order:
Pulp Fiction
Fight Club
Fear And Loathing In Las Vegas
Full Metal Jacket
A Clockwork Orange
Rocky Horror Picture Show
Magnolia
Clerks
Private Parts
heh, and the old Star Wars of course, no use denying it.
it wasn't easy. _________________ i have no time for anal love

O Brother Where Art Thou
Monty Python's Life of Brian
Seven Samurai
Yojimbo
Fear and Loathing in Las Vegas
A Clockwork Orange
Brazil
Bull Durham
LA Story
The Matrix
The first four are the top four, can't be put into any order. Definitely on my top ten list for the foreseeable future.
The next three are in my second tier, although they are probably permanent members of my top ten list also.
The last three may or may not be in my top ten five years from now, hard to say. _________________

1 - Kung Fu Hustle - Steven Chow is a f*cking genius.
2 - Final Fantasy VII: Advent Children - Do I really need to express a reason?
3 - ALIEN - Best in the series and you know it.
4 - PREDATOR - Second best in the series and you know it.
5 - Aliens - You come up with a reason.
6 - The Matrix: Reloaded - "WET WILLY, MISTER TIMBERLAKE!"
7 - The Starwars trilogy (old) - "You don't know the power of the dark side."
8 - Enemy of the State - ACTIONY!
9 - Godzilla (any of the japanese ones, most particularly Final Wars) - You got to love Godzilla, man.
10 - I'll get back to you on that... |

so, you're actually saying you liked Reloaded better than the-first-and-the-holy Matrix?

Holy Grail was made with a shoestring budget, and thus was edgier and more fun. There were by far the better individual scenes in that movie.
But I prefer the premise and story of Life of Brian.
Just my opinion.

Hmm...my favorite movies...
10-Serenity- I loved that movie. It was fugging funny. How can you not like a movie with a quote like this. "Do you want to be captain of this boat? Yes actually I do! Well...You can't!" Lol.
9-Batman Returns- Still the best Batman movie in my book. Michael Keaton still the best Batman out there. Not a very good Bruce Wayne though. Plus Catwoman was fugging hot!
8-Batman Begins- Only because of what the director did with Gotham City. It made it look like a real life place where people actually live in. And on top of that Christian Bale is the best and believable Bruce Wayne out of all the movies. Oh...and Christian Bale is hot.
7-Predator- Duh! It's the fugging Predator!! why wouldn't this movie be on my list?
6-Aliens- The only sequel better than its original. Plus Newt was a little cutie! ^_^
5-Mortal Kombat- Only because it's MORTAL KOMBAAAAAT!!!
4-Grave of the Fireflies- The most saddest anime ever created. I cried like a bitch at the end.
3-Star Wars- Luke I am your father! Nooo!!!
2- The spiderman series- Its still the best comic to movie...movies ever made. Sam Raimi is a GOD.
1-I dunno yet! ^_^ _________________

Christian Bale has been one of my favorite actors since Empire of the Sun.
My favorite movies though are Batman Begins, Matrix(es), and Back to the Future 1, 2, & 3. I like the pitch for the first one: He's the first kid to ever get in trouble before he was born. _________________ "Gravitation cannot be held responsible for people falling in love." - Albert Einstein |
