Anybody notice btw that in the latest Godzilla movie (the one with Jean Reno) the sea was very calm where those fishing boats were attacked... it was something something miles of the coast (don't remember exactly what, but it was a good distance away from it) but the sea was really calm... _________________

There was only one KKvG movie made... By the way, The one with Jean Reno isn't ther latest one. There have been... Godzilla 2000, Godzilla X Megaguirus, G.M.K, Godzilla X Mechagodzilla, Godzilla: Tokyo SOS, and most recentlly, Godzilla: Final Wars. All Godzilla films, with the exeption of the one with Jean Reno, were Japanese movies. They were no longer re-realesed in American theaters in 1975, the date of the "last" Godzilla movie. Then, in 1984, Toho made another one. It was the final Japanese Godzilla movie to be released internationally until 2000. _________________ "Bow down, bow down, before the might of Santa! Maybe Godzilla was like... I dunno. Going reaaaaaally slowly. Belly down the bottom and dragging itself along the bottom with it's fingers. Slowly. And taking pauses every now and then. And refraining from breathing at all.

Odd. According to my rather accurate, although a tad unreliable sources, there were two versions. The yankee one, where King Kong wins and the japanese one, where Godzilla wins.
Guess I'm wrong. _________________ bitchez n hose |

Ah, that was only an urban legend, really. Ending is the same in both versions.(although the american company took a few "liberties" with the dubbing... bastards...)It most likly started from someone misunderstanding the common "Americans try to make it look like KK won in the American dub!" There WAS also going to be a remake, but Universal, being the evil S.O.Bs they are, asked to much monny. BAH! BAH, I SAY! That's extortion! You owe them for cheating the big G! DEATH TO UNIVERSAL! (This entire post just screams "fanboy" dosen't it?) _________________ "Bow down, bow down, before the might of Santa! Or be crushed, be crushed.... BY his jolly boots of doom!" |

But I mean that they are really far from the coast. Almost in the middle of the ocean... should the water be so calm there? I always figured that there would be more waves... you know. _________________

Godzilla is so awesome, that it took the time to kick wind's ass before going swimming. _________________ bitchez n hose |

I totally agree with you. There's no way that stupid monkey would have survived an onslaught from the thermonuclear death breath. That, and Godzilla's supposed to be several times larger than Kong. He could have stepped on him. Monkey pancake. _________________ "I do not feel obliged to believe that the same God who has endowed us with sense, reason, and intellect has intended us to forgo their use."

I agree, it was made very apparent in every King Kong movie that he was somewhere between 25ft and 70ft, whereas Godzilla's size is invariably 300ft tall... _________________

Yah, in Peter Jackson's King Kong, he wasn't very big at all, when compared to say, the remake godzilla. _________________ You forget one thing: rock crushes scissors. But paper covers rock... and

Would you all believe I've never seen any of the old Godzillas? At least, not all the way through. This doesn't count the american remake (which i love btw) _________________ You forget one thing: rock crushes scissors. But paper covers rock... and
