Well, unless they make an acyual costume of a female pred, they look pretty masculine. Andt he xenos are just insectoid, you can't see very mush masculinity, or femininity in it either, so resort the aliens being the girl. But I'm sure if they do make a female predator costume, or anythign liek that, they would have the xeno being the guy, instead of typically being the girl.
That's just my theory though.

from what I understand all xenos are female with rare few males.
and as for the pred well I think that they think females just won't look good as a hunter.

Well from what I've read, the xenos either have a very large population of females, with few males, or vice versa, or that they have no true gender.
But I really believe that they have no true gender. I mean, even the Queen would not exactly have a gender. It lays eggs, but that does not quite mean it's female. After all, there is no other xenomorph fertilizing the eggs, or mating with the queen.
Snails lay eggs, but don't have a gender. Althoguh they are hermaphrodites.

true..... but I was thinking there could be a way that the queen has mated before she starts laying the eggs. Kinda like queen bees they mate once and only once and just store up the sperm to be used later. The queen alien could mate before she actually is the queen. As for ones born a queen I have no idea. But all I am saying with the way they have kids is

I was not refering to being a xeno I was refering to the supposedly no sex bit. Thats why I said wheres the fun in that.

Oy vey...I had thought about posting the link to this...video, but someone beat me to it. Like half a year earlier. I must say, viewing this with my younger cousin at 2:30 a.m. is quite disturbing.
