What upcoming games are you most excited for?
Me:
Xbox 360- Halo 3- Why? IT'S HALO 3!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Nintendo Wii- Legendd of Zelda: Twilight Princess- Played it, it was incredible!
Playstation 3- God of War 2- The first one left me hungry for more blood. 
PC- Spore- I always wanted to make a race of scorpion-like creatures who use a colony based society, and reproduce using hosts... wait, that's already been done before. ><

Killzone 2 for the PS3. I'm gonna love it no matterhow hard it sucks.
Spore. But I'll never be able to run it on my computer.
Fallout 3... I don't care if I can run it, I just wanna see what Bethesda did to my all time favourite universe.

Same here. My computer can't even run my copy of Halo PC properly. All the graphics are dumbed down and it looks like hell.

God of War 2 will be released on the PS2, not the PS3. It may be ported later, but it's intended for release on current gen hardware. I will play it with much enjoyment. The first one was a near perfect mix of platform, action and compelling storytelling.
I am really looking forward to Metal Gear Solid 4. From all outward appearances it looks to be the next great thing from Konami. Too bad I won't be able to afford the PS3. $600 is too damn much for a game system.
Burn in hell, Sony! Damn your Blu-ray DVD format!

I agree, although its only going to be available on Windows Vista, Microsoft's move to encourage users to upgrade to their new Perhaps $99 operating system. Oh well.
Although possibly not considered a game in its own, I'm looking forward to Half Life 2 Episode 2. I loved all of Half Life 2, and am eager to see what comes next. I hope Alyx doesn't die though, that would suck to an almost unimaginable magnitude, not to mention potentially turning some people off the Half Life 2 franchise (although not really... I don't know)

Nothing official been announced though, same goes for StarCraft 2, which I am also greatly anticipating (Blizzard HAVE to make it someday)
All Blizzard games are worth being highly anticipated anyway :)

Okay, I thought this might be a good thread to post up some findings I recently discovered.
The next iteration of Windows is set to include and support DirectX 10, and should be the next step in virtual photorealism, using Shader Model 4 and Geometry Shading (which should be huge improvements if it's on the scale similar to the difference between Shader Models 2 & 3) I was troubled that we peoples might just have to upgrade our hardware yet again for the new eye candy. I found that indeed we will have to. Yes, that's right, current cards will not support DX10. Bugger.
Then I decided to find out exactly when we might have to upgrade. Findings: Not anytime soon, figure 1/2 years at least. The two biggest next-gen engines are Unreal-3 and CryENGINE-2. U3 looks set to be primarily a DX9 engine without future modification (it seems the U3 will support DX10 features in the future), and information on CE2 is limited, but it's opening game, Crysis, is set for release pre-vista, and hopefully Crytek wasn't idiotic enough to release screenshots based on DX10-version graphics right now. However you never know...
So generally, it looks like DX10 games are still beyond the horizon, and the immediate future shouldn't find us trading video cards again. A similar event happened with DX9, it was released in 2002 and yet games that extensively used it didn't appear until 2004 (Think the 2004 Trio: Far Cry, Doom 3, and Half Life 2).
Also, it doesn’t look as if either Halo 2 or even Halo 3 will utilize DX10, by virtue that the Xbox 360 GPU is a DX9 chip (I’m not certain if there actually are hardware updates for consoles), unless the guys behind Halo 2 PC are actually upgrading the graphics. Even then it probably won’t venture beyond Shader Model 3.0 at most. So yeah, there’s my two cents.
Also I really want to beat some small puppies with a rusty crowbar and mug an old lady or something because Bioware stated that they had no plans for porting Mass Effect to PC. KHAAAAAN!!
