Yeah, I've posted that before... but it's just so damn funny... the movie that goes with it is even funnier... I just loved the look on the face of that Brahmin when he looked back to see that mushroom cloud forming, then he continued grazing, and then he all of a sudden realised he was screwed so he looked back again and then started running... only to be caught in the flames. Or something like it. _________________

I wouldn't know, I haven't seen Apoc yet, and I didn't really think RE was bad... _________________

RE was ok, RE: Apoc was pretty decent.
I wonder if Afterlife will take place in the Arklay Mountains. (where the mansion was in the original game)
and as for AvP, that was entertaining.
but it made the Preds look a bit shite, IMO. _________________

| I didn't really like either of the Resident Evil movies, and only the first Predator movie captured the true spirit of the creature for me. As for Giger's alien... I only ever watch Alien or Aliens anymore. The others are just a waste of time that could be better spent belching the national anthem. |

You're all forgetting one very important thing about Paul Anderson:
The first Mortal Kombat movie was totally sweet.
Every other thing he's ever done has pretty much sucked ass, but at least he's done one thing to better humanity. |

I remember seeing that in the theater on opening day. I was so psyched. It was awesome. Of course, I'm not as impressed with it nowadays, having grown out of my long Mortal Kombat phase, but I still enjoy it. It's got some great fight scenes, and Cary Tagawa is friggen' scary. And Goro! Whoo, animatronics! _________________ The depressing thing about tennis is that no matter how good I get, I'll never be as good as a wall.

It's a pity the sequel sucked so much.
Have you ever seen the live action television series, Mortal Kombat: Conquest? It's really, really good - far better than I ever imagined it would be.
I like it more than the first movie, in fact. |

There was no sequel, dammit. Just let me pretend.

I wouldn't say it was better than the first movie, but pretty good. Fun anyway, if a little cheesy. The way they let it end on a cliffhanger and didn't renew it for a second season pissed me off to no end. Shows like VIP and Nightman last for years but MK:Conquest gets cancelled... it's a travesty.
Did you ever watch the animated series? Fun fact: Rayden was voiced by Clancy Brown, who played The Korgan in Highlander, starring Christopher Lambert, who played Rayden in the MK movie. Wierd how that works out, huh? _________________ The depressing thing about tennis is that no matter how good I get, I'll never be as good as a wall.

I really like the way it ends, actually, on such a low note - I love it when the bad guys wins. And Shao Kahn on that show was a great villain... one of my favourites.
And Siro was super-cool. |

Yeah, it was different, but I really wanted to see what would happen next. Hey, did you notice Shao Kahn was played by the same guy as Rayden? I think they're supposed to be twins. _________________ The depressing thing about tennis is that no matter how good I get, I'll never be as good as a wall.

I know that they're played by the same guy - Jeffrey Meek (who did a fantastic job of playing both of them). I never woulda guessed it just from watching it, though - not in a million years. The fight they had in the final was glorious.
I think in the second movie that never happened, it was revealed they were brothers. Which is another reason why the second movie didn't happen. |

And they killed Johnny Cage, the best thing about the first movie.
And they also took away the Lambert, another one of the best things of the first. At least they kept the theme song.
... in that movie that never happened. |

I watched RE:A last night and was unimpressed.
The shakey cam when pointed at the zombies was annoying.
The horde just wasn't about. The Undead horde only showed up when it seem like he remembered them.
I mean we had a couple of hunderd people Turned away from the bridge. With the amount running aroudn that should have been a hell of a Scrap. What happened to them?
Nothing thats what.
The Graveyard scence annoyed the hell outa me. What was up with that? How did they get the Virsus in them?
Nemsis looked nice. But what was the piont behind the programme?
Just to have those two fight it out? Which was a rather Crappy fight. Why are they swung by the leg into pillars. Does this go back to Andersons Youth when his Brothers used to Paly WWE with him.
Did like the Star unit and how they where Holed up but really piontless scene as we know Nemsis can take more than your average amount of Damage. So slaughtering the cops was a Waste of time and ammo.
someone Help me out what was the piont behind the game?
Plsu where did all the Zombie kids go? They where there eating reporter chick. Then poof gone. Does Anderson suffer from problems telling Time cause that was an issue of the Dreaded AVP.
Gona stop before I blow my fanboy Engine.
It hurts so much. _________________

oh so true. Johnny survived all the stuff in the first movie, and he died in the most rediculous way in the next movie. that seriously sucked. _________________ Certified Evil Bastard. Serving your cuppa at Starbucks Terminal One Arrival Hall, Singapore. The one who started Premium Evil's tea. |

I liked Apoc... it was... entertaining... but the Nemesis was a fucking rip-off of the Super Muties from Fallout! Fuck Anderson for that... a big, fucking ugly mutated head... a leather fucking jacket... a fucking Minigun attached to his arm? That was the biggest rip-fucking-off I have ever seen!
Ok, enough of the F-word now... sorry, had to get that out of my system... _________________
