I'm stuck outside after the window. I have the pipe, the chewing gum w/ chain, the Scrabble game piece, half a burger, a screwdriver, a wrench, some bread, a quarter, the key that unlocked the window, the knife, and the thug card.

If anyone has beaten it, please help me out.

Alright, go to the liquor shop and grab the forty. On the right side of the store theres a small crack. Slip the forty through the crack and go out on the other side to pick it up. Hand it to the bum and after he passes out take his cup of change. Go back to the store and buy the seltzer tablets with the change. Go back up to the window and combine the seltzer with the bread and give it to the bird. After the bird explodes take the hairpin, go back down, and take the change from the parking meter. if you've not done this part yet, talk to the shady character and ask for information. Agree to the zippo deal. Go down the sewer with the knife and use the wrench on the pipe. Go inside the hole and drop the burger down. The crocs gonna follow you inside the whole. Loosen the wheel with the wrench, spin it yourself, then open the hatch with the quarter screwdriver and knife (forgot which, try them all) and look inside. Use the G2 scrabble piece on the missing slot and push it. The croc gets pwned. Get out of the hole and keep on walking left until you see the treasure. Use the gum and chain on the lighter. Give the lighter back to the shady guy and then walk left to the bus. Use the change for the bus, and watch the rest ;)

Sorry, man. I should have expounded, but I was trying brevity...for once.

"I hate games where 'you' are sitting there in a made up situation and have to try interacting with various junk int the game environment to solve the 'puzzle' using trial and error. If this were a real life situatuion in which you had gotten yourself, you do what you are going to do...and you don't get a "retry" button when you fuck up."

Hmm. I can't really say I agree with you there. Doesn't seem like a good reason to 'hate' a game. One could say, that the ability to screw around without the threat of any actual, physical harm to your own person, is one of the main reasons people play point&clickers, or in fact, any games at all.
From there, one could draw the more or less far fetched conclusion that you 'hate' all games, which kind of would put us at odds.

But we all have our opinions and I will have to respect that, even if some are completely wrong, stupid and believed in by people who'll propably still have zits at the age of 32.
(yes, i know that 'believed in' doesn't sound right, but as many of you have noticed, my english could be better. you know what i mean, anyway.)

As for the PM, I like to be in denial and pretend it's not even there. So far, it has worked.

I just mean its frustrating...yet addicting...and so I look at most point and clickers and most RPG puzzle games as annoying...my preferance is simulators, either driving or shooting. I do like the !st person POV stuff where your implements are in your "hands" and you can use them whenever...Does that make more sense? I actually did enjoy the first Johnny Rocketfingers...just for a quick kick in the pants. I don't enjoy virtual challenges as much as I enjoy virtual recreation...meaning I would drive fast and shoot stuff is it wasn't such a complicated ordeal in the real world.

I'd rather do something creative in the real world than play games anyway. For instance, my Jeep is beckoning for an exhaust upgrade so I'm gonna go fab some pipe. Later.
