radiohead

pearl jam (and i mean early pearl jam)

In terms of rock:

Trans-Siberian Orchestra
Lynyrd Skynyrd
Queen
Boston
Kansas

in no particular order.

If we meant all time, I'd have to figure out a way to replace two of those with Bach and Beethoven.

Yeah! Breaking Benjamin and Rammstein! Smile

and Aramor, Breaking Benjamin is a pretty popular band here wher I live. They do urban rock, some of their best tracks in my opinion are Polyamorous, So Cold, Firefly, Wish I may, pretty much all there songs are great.

Again, I feel oddly out of place here (although Ipsa's top five is in my record collection apart from Jane's addiction)

1. The KLF
2. Pet Shop Boys
3. Goran Bregovic & his wedding and funeral band
4. The Jazz Messengers
5. U2

In order. Also, if it wasn't just a list of bands, Oum Kolthoum and DJ Shadow would have been in there as well.

Yah. Breaking Benjamin is pretty popular over here, too. However, I first heard of it when they did the music for that video game, RLH (Run Like Hell).

Its funny. Whenever I mention that game, I usually get a flood of "that game sucks" and the like, but I had fun playing it. But then again, that was a couple years ago, before I'd played some some REAL good games. Like Halo. And Battlefield/front.

They did write the song "Blow Me Away" for Halo 2, good song. For some reason though, every time I listen to it, I'm gaurenteed to do much better in any game I play.
