I can't see Abe as gay! He does try to get dates! I think he need to make friends with some hookers. Is Abe even a virgin? Does he resort to being with hookers? Questions only Bernieh can answer! _________________

Blaster, you gonna judge me based on your perception that I may be homophobic?
No, I don't think Abe is either. Sorry I ever brought it up. _________________ Anything is possible if you don't know what you are talking about. |

Indeed. Reminds me of this (<--clicky - totally not save for work).
More goodies in that illustrious pr0n thread in the Alien, Predators, all that...forum.

I was referring to Shera's post. Tacitly, I was defending your right to question Abe's sexuality. _________________ Context is everything. |

Okay, sorry if I read you wrong.
Anyway, Shera has a few issues with the idea for obvious reasons. I have no problem backing off the subject or withdrawing the question. I can sympathize.
And I may or may not be homophobic...same is true for anyone else here, but that is not relevant to the question. _________________ Anything is possible if you don't know what you are talking about. |

| I think it's best that he never really get a real date. Too many "can humans date alien issues" to work out with his future date. |

Excellent point.
I'm sure the forums would be ablaze with heated debate! Plus he might actually grow up a bit and realize he doesn't have to be a horndog...Yeah, and the sun might turn to Pepsi. _________________ Anything is possible if you don't know what you are talking about. |

If the sun was pepsi, We'd need a lot of ice to make it refreshingly cold!

| I must agree. I don't think his date would want to go have wild sex with him on the first date, or anything for that matter, unless she was deaf/blind and had no feeling in her body. |

You do any writing? I've found that many many things you hope to experience...are not going to made for you, so you must create those things yourself. This applies to a good story and many other aspects of life. _________________ Anything is possible if you don't know what you are talking about. |

In fact, I do write, and perhaps I'll write something up, but for now I've been too busy with other endeavors. But when some free time comes up, we shall see! |

Well, whatever you plan to do...I found writing for self to be entertaining, but writing for others is much more fun, since you get to share your ideas. _________________ Anything is possible if you don't know what you are talking about. |

Well...perhaps when the comic becomes old hat & stail and no one cares anymore, then yes Abe can have a successfull date. Untill then, it would be like letting Tom catch Jerry after only 2 cartoons, in other words it would kill the strip. (sorry Abe) _________________ WHY YOU GOTTA BREAK BALLS? |

As a homo, I've gotta say: Abe is straight, you heteros gotta keep him, we don't want him.
Obvy, Abe having a "successful" date- one where both people are happy & they get it on- is out of the question. Now, if Abe went on a blind date with one of those girls who is just so desperate to have a man, *any*male*being* to fill a perceived void in her life, and she went all "I'll love you forever!!" on him, that might be entertaining. The woman wouldn't have to be fat/ugly/blind/anosmic or anything... I've met plenty of perfectly presentable, otherwise together ladies who believe that a woman is nothing without a man. Generally they have a huge wedding scrapbook already made up- photos of dresses, ring specifications, colour swatches, honeymoon resort fliers, and just a little blank space for the groom's name. Scary. |

I think he should find a girl so fucked-up and psycho in the head that HE would be the one that looks rather normal.
And then she'd chase after him with an axe or some type of disturbing sexual device, and he'd cry.
Yeah... that would be perfect. |

Hey people. Hope everyone is doing fine.
Well, I can't help but to make a comment and by that I hope I am not stepping on anybodies toes or expectations of what Predators should be like. So I'm going to bore you a bit.
One of the societies here on Earth that is the most alike the predatorial society as we know it from fiction is the hierarchy of ancient Japan. The samurais were extremely diciplined and also very respected in society, very much like the blooded and above for the yautja society. If someone didn't bow deeply enough when a samurai passed by, they would be rightfully beheaded...and to think it was an honour to be killed by a samurai in that way.
We automatically put our westernised values into other societies, but the fact is that even in such a strong hierarchy and ruthlessly enforced dicipline, male-to-male contact was allowed and accpeted to stabilize and re-enforce loyalty between brothers in arms. A person you'd grow attached to is less likely for you to kill and so on. However, the men usually never showed this out in the open as we do in our western countires, but rather in their private quaters. Anyway, most men later got married and stuff, but sometimes they had to release the tension.
So, I figure since there are humans in every society, as well as certain animals (including whales, dolphins, apes and monkeys ... i.e. of higher intelligence) displaying this type of stabilising behavour, who is to say there are no preds sharing this. I think the we often project them as being sort of super-humans (they are to an extent) - better in morale and behavour then what we are - but we tend to forget that they are biological and are built up by the same laws of nature as we are, and nature has her own laws...whether we like it or not. The difference is that the preds follow nature's law and we break it, because we think we are smarter and try to over-ride 4 billion years of evolution with our feable minds. That's when problem kicks in and we all know that we are up to our necks in S***T that we are responsible to. Or what do you guys think?
Peace
