Hmm never had that happen to me.
Do the first Arbiter level: As soon as gameplay starts, run back to the very edge of the landing platform, but keep an eye on the phantoms. Then when you reach the end, scope in on the phantoms and keep watching, it will be hard to see, but very noticable: hilarity insured

My Halo 2 disc is damaged, but I'll remember to do that someday...
But my thing, yah. It's just a glitch in the physics system. You see it all the time, but it seems like I've seen the same spot do it like 6 different times.
Have you ever done the unlimited sword glitch?

Yah, Linda was the really good sniper...
What happened to them? At the end of Halo: First Strike there were, like, 3 living spartans besides master chief. Kelly was abducted by Dr. Halsey. But Linda (frosen in cryo, wasn't she?) and I think at least two others were alive.
And then theres Halo 2 and they're all gone again?

Yeah. I think it was either Linda or Fred that went with Kelly to make sure she was okay, and another one was put in cryo along with the MC.
It's sad that the books are considered non-canonical. The Halo series is really dry to begin with.
