I was twelve back then. When I was seven, we were the first on our block to own a pc. Kids would gather in my house to play games...

I learned to program in Basic.

I wrote my school essays in a program called wordstar - after which came wordperfect. Man, that was difficult to get used to. I remember, wordstar was permanently on overwrite, while wordperferct was permanently on insert. So the first few YEARS I would put it on overwrite, because I was so used to wordstar. Then came Word. That was even more difficult to get used to.

Then came the internet...
