But it sounds like a World War II relic.

Why was it back then practically all superheroes had 'captain' in thier name? Captain Planet, Captain America, Captain Future, Captain Whatshisface, etc.

No, no, Captain Comic is the main character of a computergame I used to play when I was very young - in 1988. Some of you weren't even born back then, but it was great! I played the first Prince of Persia at around the same time... or was that a little later?

The funny thing is, I never played any games after that anymore... So in my mind, this is what computergames are:

I loved that game as a kid!
