What use to be my favorite was that pizza shop in Houston. St., a few shop up from Katz.
MAN! It has Sooooo much cheese, and and they wound over cook it a bit. ...DAM!
And back in the days, it was worth $1.50.
Now its at Orchard and Stanton. But they don’t make it like they use too. _________________ .....Hi! I'm Preston's Girlfirend. You got a Problem with that?! |

There bacon cheeseburger slice is killer.

Awww PIZZA...*drooool* I just get Dominoes if I'm in a hurry, but if I have time I like to eat at Sbarro's. The slices are bigger than your face AND the cheese is slightly browned on the top while still chewy underneath! The best part is you can choose how you want your crust (thick, thin, crunchy, filled with artery cloggin' greasified chewy junk), at least the Sbarro's I go to does!......*hmmm, think I'll heat up some o' that I've got in the freezer* _________________ Earth first....we'll screw up the other planets later.

| Dude-if you're going for the big slice in the NYC the spot is Koronet up on B'way between 110 and 111. If you sit two of those slices side by side it's like the size of a friggin' doormat. And pretty cheap too! |

Totonno's in Brooklyn is the second best pizza I've ever had.
The best pizza I've had EVER was Una Pizza Nepolatana at the Jersey Shore. I heard the restaurant was sold and moved to Manhattan, I think the East Village. The pizza is completely authentic - there's no such thing as toppings, the ingredients are of the finest quality and it is all done through brick ovens.
Ah, found it.

You can check out the menu there and their mission statement. I'm a big pizza fan. I've heard Grimaldi's is really good, but I haven't tried it. When I lived in Chinatown me and my roommate's use to get pizzas from Lombardi's every few weeks, but they were just okay. The quality seems to vary depending how busy they are. _________________ "The time for talk is over. Now we must kung fu..."

Difara's Pizza! In...Flatbush I think? They make sicilian pizza with BUFFALO CHEESE, it's like nothing you've ever had before. The guy who works there is realy old and tends to burn it slightly, but other wise it's highly addictive pizza! _________________ WHY YOU GOTTA BREAK BALLS? |

I am reviving this entire thread sub-section. The best pizza in the world is: Vince & Dominics in Rockville, MD. Followed closely by Mama Lucia, and a not so distant third is Ledo's. _________________ "Gravitation cannot be held responsible for people falling in love." - Albert Einstein |

Ah yes; I love it when people feel that they are qualified to announce the "best [type of business, food product, etc.] in the [world, universe, etc.] EVAR eleventyone!"
It's usually a matter of ignoring or denying the claims of others (despite the fact that the individual has most likely not sampled those products espoused by fellow interlocutors), and forwarding whatever obscure place he or she frequents.
Certainly there is an implied level of hyberbole, but it irks me nonetheless. I have my favorites as well, but I take care not to make such dramatic claims. I suppose it just reminds me of the hipster nonsense of liking the most obscure band possible.
Oh, and I don't mean to pick on you, Koko, you just happened to revive the thread. _________________ Context is everything. |

Well, since the thread has been revived...who are we to deny it oxygen?
I wish I could recall where I got pizza in New York when I was there. But that was almost 6 years ago. One type of pizza that's pretty amazing is Greek pizza. If the restaurant does it right, you get mozzarella and feta cheese along with mushrooms and either lamb or chicken. (Oh, and I'm sure they'll put olives on it, too...if you like those.) Tasty stuff. _________________ When life hands you lemons, you make some lemonade.
