Metroid Prime 2 Echoes rules. I just killed it off a few days ago and I feel like I actually accomplished something great. What a fantastic game. I didn't think they could improve on the first Metroid Prime and I was wrong. So good.

I had to get a guide to beat Echoes X_x. But yeah, it was a great game.

The Revolution's controller is the worst idea in video games since they made an Atari game of E.T.

Tis true. I'm guessing you can plug the Gamecube controllers in, or buy a newer version of the Gamecube controller for the Revolution. Well, I hope so. 'Cause I'm never playing on it with a vibrateystick.

All recent information points to the Revolution going with it.

This is the suck. Apparently there are sensors that come with the system that you place on your TV or whatever, and they read your movements. So it's an exciting new way of sword fighting or playing video tennis. But unless they make a true two-handed controller for this system, it will fail miserably. Methinks they should just stick to making handelds.

Well Microsoft released it hoping to get shit loads of cash for Christmas. But, everyone with sense knows the first people to buy them are mere testers to the product. They report all the faults in a christmas-ruined anger. So everyone just has broken 360's for Christmas. They should have waited 'til everyone had Christmas money and released it early new year. *nod*

Revolutions controller is a bad idea, but theres a slim chance that it'll be good. But then again evreyone thought the Nintebdo Power Glove was gonna be cool, but that turned out to be a piece of crap. Anyways, Gamecube is cool, a little under-rated though.

I think you can use the controller as a regular controller, so those of you who don't want to use the controller like a sword or what not then you don't. I love my gamecube, I love my PS2, and I love my Xbox. They all have something to offer so I don't complain. Gamecube has great games Res Evil 4, Metroid, Viewtiful Joe, Eternal Darkness, Pikmin, etc. and it's a great party console. There are also less moving parts so it makes it harder for the actual console to mess up. PS2 and Xbox have the tray which can get stuck or what not. The only bad thing about gamecube (or two) is that you have to hack it to get online and the prices of the games take forever to go down. Super smash brothers is still $30.00 it should be 20 by now...

The new slim PS2 has no tray issues I'm aware of. Wink

It is kinda annoying that really good, long games (Resident Evil 0 and 4 for example) have to be split up onto two discs just because the Gamecube discs are so small. But the gameplay is tops. Resident Evil 4 is possibly the best game I've ever played, except for maybe MGS 3. I have close to 30 games for my PS2 and maybe 8 for my Gamecube, so...yeah.

lol , i bought a gamecube first , and the a PS2 and lets just say im glad i switched , To be honest the gamecube is awsome , with the few games it has ....... but im sick of seeing good games advertised on tv and at the end of the advert looking for the gamecube logo and only seeing the xbox and ps2 logo it does my head the games just arent produced , well the good ones that is , i want Metal Gear solid and Halo Not F**kin Mario , meh ....... what ever floats your boat

Because here in Australia everyone hates GC and it sucks so all the GC retailers are trying to get rid of them FAST.

Usually you would find it for like $79 but I negotiated it lower. The guy selling me it couldn't be happier.

The only games I heard were good on the GC (as well as exclusive to it) were Metroid Prime and Metroid Prime 2.

Who cares about Mario Kart, they all started to suck after the first one. Besides, F-Zero was better in my opinion.

Oh yes, that latest F-Zero game was also one of the few good gaems for the GC.
