Relax, Trip, I only love King Baldwin in a platonic way. Besides, he's all leppery and stuff. We could never "do it". _________________ The depressing thing about tennis is that no matter how good I get, I'll never be as good as a wall.

Actually I didn't even read how this thread got sidetracked.
Holly I see you're also quite the DVD pirateer. I shoulda given you first billing on the certificate.
I wonder if polygamy is allowed on the forum? or more likely polyandry since the females will probably have their own harems of male slaves. _________________ "You have to quote from books to look clever. You can't quote from films. If you quote from films you just look like a geek." |

PH3AR my mad pirating skillz, arrr. No, I'm being totally honest when I say I only copy DVDs I've paid for. I bring them to work for people to watch in the breakroom. And being the huge MST3K fan I am I've been "circulating the tapes" so to speak. I've transferred most of my video collection to DVD and have been sennding them around to various online buddies. I don't yet have editing software, so I can't remove the commercials or add menus, but it's better than nothing. _________________ The depressing thing about tennis is that no matter how good I get, I'll never be as good as a wall.

MST=Mystery science theater. they're movies where you're sitting in the audience watching a movie behind two robot looking puppets that heckle whats onscreen. Usually its the goddawful worst movie ever so the things they say are funnier than the original movie.
They used to do that for bad anime at Otakon but have stopped, which kinda sucked cause that was like the only event I'd wait in line for. _________________ "You have to quote from books to look clever. You can't quote from films. If you quote from films you just look like a geek." |

It would be cool if my name was in the same font as they use for the Alien movies... _________________

The traditional aliens logo is this one:
Each movie had its own differnt type style, but this is the one widely used in games, comics, toys etc. Its basically "Arial Narrow" stretched with the "I" drawn as a slit and a slight glow on the other letters.
The one you have is probably from alien Resurrection, which I think is pretty ugly as a logo.
Overall I prefer the Alien 3 logo, even tho the movie kinda bleh.
