And there was much rejoicing. For Christmas I asked for a couple of books and CDs. Christmas is more fun when you're a kid. As an adult it's an exercise in how much you can cram onto your credit card so you don't have to pay until later.

I agree that the magic is gone from Christmas. Holidays are just like any other day to me now. Frankly, I'm lucky if I get the day off.
From what I hear, when you have kids, you get to relive some of that magic vicariously. Maybe I'll find out some day.

There are hundreds of games for the gamecube and a majority of them I like. Most of the good Xbox and PS2 games also are released for PC, which I'd rather have them on PC than on a console anyway.
But, back on topic.. this is the first Christmas I'll have a girlfriend so I am excited about it! But, I have no idea what to get her for Christmas. Any suggestions? She has something in mind for me, I guess, but she is keeping it a secret. I want to get her something, but I have no idea what to get her..

Well Isaac, I would suggest something unexpected, useful, something that she probably wants and something pockety. Like, fits in a pocket. Uhh... okay, I don't really have good suggestions, but one way to start is aiming for something she'll probably like. So, any ideas?
