Hello, my name is Shane Woodis, and I'm apparently the person who drew aLp its first guest comic/fan art/whatever you'd call that thing I did. I've never been to New York, but I've seen enough episodes of Late Night with Conan O' Brien to know that it is a wacky place where the president communicates through a television screen on a regular basis, and while there only his mouth is mobile. Because of this New York frightens me even more than Leonard, the man made entirely out of breadcrumbs that lives in my Boudoire (it's French and, I'm assuming, so is Leonard... at the very least he wears a beret and a black striped shirt).

What was I talking about again? Oh yeah, I make a comic as well, but it's not about Aliens, Predators, or New York. But it does have a guy trying to get laid a lot, so that's something. Also the women in my comic aren't barbie dolls... not to say that they're more realistically proportioned than Barbie dolls, I'm just saying they're not actual dolls.

Oh yeah, me. I'm 18, currently living in Oklahoma, the land where evolution decided to take a few days off just when it was getting good. My home sits on a hill with a great view of a crack house and roving gangs (just like New York!), except without all the flava and such. Really, our gangs are just a few guys who are too inbred to remember that they're actually related, so the blood-brother ceremony isn't much use to them.

I'd regale you with further tales of my life and times, but it's time for me to take my medicine or the man in the white coat will poke me with the pain stick again, and you all know how that feels. So, until next time, toodles!

I live in New Castle, DE (but in a metaphysical sense, don't we all?). I'm originally from Salem, NJ, which had a serious case of NYC envy when I was in high school. This meant that all the black guys were "hard" and all the white guys were bruised. Being a black metalhead meant that I was safe(usually) but outcast.

My chief enjoyments are beer, tv(Iron Chef, Good Eats, Adult Swim, House, most History Channel stuff, MXC), internet(playing free lottos, humor and satire sites, useless facts sites), and sobbing inconsolably because I have no job and can't buy beer.
