I've been half-reading and half-ignoring this topic (I like tanks and all, but don't really feel the need to argue about them, etc.), but how the hell do you steal an MRI machine?

Well, as I recall MRI machines 3D images of the body but X-ray like pictures are also made
these can be stolen, rather easy in fact.

I don't think they should abolish the tank, just mix it up a little... I mean, it looks awesome in Red Alert if you use your V3's to take out the enemy's base defenses, then ride in with your Apocs to take out those stupid Grizzly's and Mirage's and then send in yoru Flak's loaded with Engi's to take over his buildings...

Hmm, am I the only one who thought that MRIs referred to "meals ready to eat," given that this is a thread about tanks? Yeah, I have also been doing my utmost to avoid this topic, but my position requires that I check things out occasionally to ensure that everyone behaves properly.

MRI stands for Magnetic Resonance Imageing. It's used to detect health problems like cancer.
@Aramor: The general Idea is that a plane can wipe out a hole tank collum. Things don't go so smooth as in games. Modern cannos have 90% chance for a first shot kill, missile have it around 99%(the tanks survives only if the missile misses.)

EDIT: Dammit, it just occurred to me that "meals ready to eat" are MREs, not MRIs. I will leave my earlier post to show that I can make mistakes, too.  Just don't expect it to happen too often.

I may look like mentaly imapred 9 year old, but I'm not the dimmest star in the sky. I've never heart of "meals ready for eating" being referd to as MRIs
I've never been in the army, and I'm not from an English speaking country, MRI form me stands only for Magnetical Resonance Imagery.

The MRI came up becaouse it's use to detect brain damage (Aramor once said that poeple with the left side of the brain damaged can't undersatnd sarcasm).
Any way back to the topic death of the heavy armor.
