Do Androids Dream of Electric Sheep by Philip Dick
it's very different from the movie but just as captivating.

You definitely should - The Man in the High Castle is set in an alternative present where the Allies lost the Second World War and America was divided up between Germany and Japan. Ubik is brilliant.

I haven't read the book - absolute headwreck of a movie though, very good.

Ishmael by Daniel Quinn.

It's like a polite reprimand from Mother Gaia.

Actually, it's the remake.

I don't get why Asshole added the flying saucers though.

Just finished reading The Kite Runner. I'm in the middle of Memoirs of a Geisha and Swallowing Darkness.

Mahmoud Darwish's Memory for Forgetfullness.

About the Israeli invasion of Lebanon. It brings tears to my eyes, but is just fucking beautiful at the same time.

William Gibson's Neuromancer.

Classic, cyberpunk.

Has anyone else read Count Zero or Mona Lisa Overdrive? I have yet to do so, and I wanted any opinions.

Yes, they're both fantastic. The trilogy lays the foundation for the entire cyberpunk genre, imo. Much better than his second trilogy, Virtual Light, Idoru and All Tomorrow's Parties, although they're very much worth the read too. Count Zero is a much pacier read, very much in the same line as Neuromancer, but Mona Lisa in many ways is probably the best of the three. If you're a fan of the author, Pattern Recognition is particularly good too.

Well, I just picked up Neuromancer again, so when I finish with this I will go check with the rest.

I am not a serial killer by Dan Wells. Its interesting so far. Fangoria gave it book of the month a while back and I was interested.

I'm rereading Crime and Punishment during my lunch breaks. Let's see how long it takes!

Lunch breaks have never felt so morally ambiguous before.
