Saw it today. Here is my reaction; Weird intro... OH! AUTOBOTS!!!!!! BIG FUCKING ROBOT VIOLENCE!!!! Oh it's them, okay somewhat funny dialogue and more sex jokes, BUMBLEBEE!!!!!! Okay... new annoying human character, tech jokes, AUTOBOTS!!!!!! Oh look character developement, cool, OH COOL MORE DECEPTICONS!!!!! Oh no! Conflict! OH SHIT WHAT WAS THAT????? DECEPTICONS!!!!!!!!! HOLY SHIT MEGATRON!!!!!!!!!! MORE BIG FUCKING ROBOT VIOLENCE!!!!! HOLY SHIT THEY JUST DID THAT!!!!!!! Character developement, improved, oh a pretty funny joke! I remember him! ROBOTS!!!!!!! HOLY SHIT MORE ROBOTS!!!!! HOLY FUCK ROBOTS!!!!!! UNHOLY ROBOT SLAUGHTER!!!!!!! YAY!!!!!!!! CLIMAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAX!!!!!!!!!!!!! HOORAY!!!!!!!!

I've seen the movie and I must say, I was very dissapointed.

The first transformers was enjoyable to me, but as said by many here, it focused too much on the human characters, and adding to them too much dumb humor.

Now my problems with the second movie:

Some annoying and really not important human characters are left out, only to add other annoying characters who'll end up following the entire movie... Stupid transformers: I realize that in the old cartoons, we had our stereotypical transformers, and they all had fairly unique characters, but I couldn't help being massively annoyed by some of them. The twins: I'm sure they weren't racial stereotypes in the original series. And adding a gold tooth to "bling" them up really doesn't help. Neither did the way they talk. Tiny decepticon soundwave: Really annoying. Why do the writers want to rub it in our face that we HAVE TO LOVE Megan Fox. The little shit actually humps her leg at one point. Great going on our "evil" decepticons. Jetfire: In the first movie, optimus told Sam they learned earth's language trough the web. Jetfire was on earth for THOUSANDS of years. He talks like some angry old Scotsman. Really. They should have just called him Jetfire McHaggis. And some others... Decepticons became weak little girlbots in this movie. Really, I don't think there is any point in this movie where they actually manage to put up a decent fight against the autobot/human alliance. In the first movie, Optimus could barely match up to Megatron (he pretty much got tossed around) yet in this one, he faces of against Megatron and 2 other big decepticons, and he manages to fight them off almost perfectly. I've always been more of a decepticon fan (with exception of them crazy dinobots) so this was quite a slap in the face. There's more things in the movie that annoyed me quite a bit, but I'm going to keep it at this. I just wish some directors would come to the conclusion that movies have reached the point where great CGI and explosions just doesn't make the movie anymore. And no, filling it up with phallic jokes will NOT fix the gaps.

Now I'm sad...
