 how far in the game does that happen? from where I am (trying to kill that spanish dude who went to hide in the prositute place) is it a long way from?

Xenomorphs can see cloaked Predators because they (presumably) navigate by pheromone rather than visible light. Tough luck for you, dude. Still, it makes me wonder--you'd think they'd have an Alien-specific cloak in their arsenal somewhere. But maybe that takes away the challenge of it?

The preds would still make sound (Idiots love the sound of thier own clicks). The preds still make the ground shake (They're not like fucking twinkerbell). The preds would generate alot of heat (plasma weapons, excess heat from cloaking and nuclear reactor).
And the xenomorphs theoretically can detect prey with any and all of these methods if smell won't work.

I think that's it. According to some of the novels, the Yautja only use cloaks to hunt intellegent things that can shoot back. It's not honorable to make a hard meat kill using a cloak.

Yeah, but heck, even human hunters can disguise their smell...
And the Aliens hearing the Predators is a lame excuse. Humans can hear, too, but that doesn't mean the Predators won't use a cloak.

True true, but hearing is still pretty damn effective. Humans primary sense is vision. After that its hearing.

Yeah, but I still think that the main thing with which the Xenos can find Preds is with pheromones... so isn't that actually smelling the Preds?

Thats because school didnt develop our hearing, ever notice that they extremly develop your vision during preschool and during your years of school but not your hearing, it is proven that people who know an instrument and who have a good hearing sucess more in math and etc? yet they do not develop it...okay I could rant on for hours but ill spare you the lecture

If you have well above average hearing, but have extreme short sightedness, and you have a gun in your hands. What would you use to use to aim the gun?
More accurately, what would you use to aim a sniper rifle?

I never said that if you develop your hearing you wouldnt for your sight, it would be better to develop them both
