Not really. In oder to be beaten to death, you generally have to suffer horrific levels of injury first - internal bleeding, shattered bones, bits of rib piercing your lungs, etc. And if it's specified that you have to die FROM the beating, no chance of dying from the shock or anything like that.
Plus, "beating" implies that you couldn't just have your spine broken or something, which would be the quick and semi-merciful way to do it.
It takes a long time to actually die just from getting the shit kicked out of you. NOT a good way to go out. AT ALL. |
Not for a pussy like you maybe but I can see spidey going down fighting even with broken arms and shit. Plus It would be hardcore if it happens in slow-mo and ou have dramatic music. Plus you need to be like slowing people down so others can escape and shit. Then you need someone to say a few dramatic lines at the end.

I think it'd be pretty cool to be standing atop the pile of enemies you killed, with no arrow-holes, and realize you did most of that with a broken spine and a giant laceration. And then die laughing at the sheer absurdity of it.

well, Long Anus sounds a lot like Longinus, one of our classic literary characters (it's actually his first name), featured in our biggest 19th century historical epic. and the mode of death sounds just right.
is that what you're referring to some kind of a spoof i'm not aware of?

Ten points. "Long Anus" is the English translation of Zagloba's ridicule of Sir Longinus Podbipięta from that early tavern scene. By the way he's from Mouse Guts, not Cat's Guts.
