| Hey my buddy Noah and I are starting an official aLp Killzone 2 clan, just for fun, just to find some more cool folks to frag around with. If we get enough people we'll make clan-only rooms where we'll blow each other's heads up. All skill levels welcome. If you're interested, leave a comment here or email me with your PSN ID and where you’re from and you’ll get an invite. |

Unfortunately I don't have a PS3, but Killzone is the reason I'm gonna buy one.
I played it a while ago at a friend's place, and it's awesome. I got 28 kills or something, which is apparently more than he ever got _________________

If Killzone was a PC game, I'd totally hook up with you guys. But it's not, and I'm not going to buy a PS3, or any other console for that matter, unless I can convince my friends to pool in their cash to get one. If you got any PC games, however, I'm game.
Wait, you go Half Life 2 right, Bernie? If you can get Synergy, and we get an ALP steam group up, we can rock out in HL2 co-op! I'm getting a game server up anyway for another group, Cake vs Steak. I can probably get the machine to host a synergy server as well. _________________

That, and I am dying to play Metal Gear Solid 4.
And don't even get me started on God of War 3, it's gonna rock.
I still say that 360 is the superior platform, though. _________________ You forget one thing: rock crushes scissors. But paper covers rock... and

And I'll do my best not to turn this thread in a fanboy shouting match then _________________

Also, I would be a hypocrite, since I've got no serious issues with the 360. Some of the games are really awesome. _________________

I'm thinking of picking this up. It is a FPS, yes? I imagine I'd need a headset or something, too, right? _________________ "If wishes were horses, we'd all be eating steak." |

Yeah, it looks to be pretty good too. I usually don't wear my headset unless I'm playing with friends.
There were only a few games I really wanted to get on the PS3, which I didn't think was worth it. Metal Gear Solid 4, LittleBigPlanet, Tekken 6, uh... but really, the only game I really, REALLY wanted for the PS3 was Final Fantasy XIII, and now that that's going to be on the 360, I'm not sure I want to buy my own PS3 anymore.
A lot of my friends have all three current-gen systems and some of the better games coming out for them, and I'm a strong believer in mooching/borrowing, so I guess I don't need to worry about anything. I'm sure I'll be playing this the next time I visit a friend's house. |

The problem with mooching off of friends is when the game is like Left 4 Dead, Shadowrun or TF2. Those games you want everyone to have because they can then play with you.
Shadowrun for 360 and Vista is awesome, btw. A very underrated game.
Definitely worth the 20 bucks it costs to buy now. _________________ You forget one thing: rock crushes scissors. But paper covers rock... and
