Ok enough wid the anti war shit. Im a supporter of our armed forces and while all war ISNT good sometimes war is the onl solution. Because unlike what alot of idiots think, no matter if war was gone for say 200 years, some psychopath would be born and start a war. Human nature is selfdestruction.

First of all, your "our armed forces" don't happen to be mine - I'm Dutch.
Second, you can support the soldier out there following orders while still think the orders are shite. To be against (a) war doesn't mean you're a traitor of the people fighting it - that idea is pure propaganda.
Tertio: if everybody would always use 'that's just the way it always has been' as an excuse to not to try and change something, or be against something, I don't think we'd ever gotten out of the trees in the first place (not that that would bad per se, but you know what I mean).
Also, and of minor importance (but still...), I don't like to be called an idiot.

Allow me to paraphrase Munan. They're YOUR armed forces. Which have proved stunningly effective and earned you some really great global press over the years in Vietnam, Iraq and Afghanistan, to name but a few minor fracas that they got themselves involved in. My heart goes out to the poor bastards in those armed forces that go there and do the actual fighting.

Yes. But for balance, I do think they did an overall good job in Europe during WWII. So I think "over the years" should be "during the last few decades" here.

Anyway yes munam you are right. I didnt think about everyones location.
But I must say this: If I ask a soldier how its possible to support him but NOT what hes fighting for, 9 times out of 10 Ill get this: "You cant"
So all I really mean is that we need to support the men and women who are in ALL of our armed forces.because while some might not be in it to serve their country, the majority of them are.
My grandpa was a Marine during WWII (Pacific Campaign), He participated in Iwo Jima and other island hopping invasions.
My Uncle was also a Marine, this time in Viet Nam as a sniper. I have a great respect for military personel, and while I dont agree with what some west-point-medal-up-the-ass general orders them to do, I DO agree with what they do for my country and yours.
