I have discovered the most twisted cartoon I have ever seen. As the title of this thread suggests, the name of the show is SUPERJAIL! It's on Cartoon Network's [Adult Swim] programming at 12:15 EST.
So without giving too much away, here's how I would describe this show.
Let's use the general sensibilities of Ren and Stimpy as our starting point, complete with lack of episode to episode continuity and understated creepiness... then add in gratuitous, wanton violence.
Gratuitous and wanton actually understate the violence. Imagine murderous, fish-raping convicts tearing each other apart in sequences of gory, psychadelic mayhem with the sort of shocking, visceral abandon that I've never before seen on any kind of television.
Also, instead of the understated creepiness of Ren and Stimpy, it's overstated. Like brick to the face overstated.
Watch one or two episodes, they're eleven minutes apiece. I couldn't muster any more than uneasy and vaguely frightened laughs, and can't stop watching.
I'm awed at this, and trust me that I'm pretty desensitized to just about everything I ever see on TV, and this has raised the bar for me.
Imagine some bastard hybrid of a megalomaniacal prison warden, Charles Manson, and Ed Gein decided to take a lethal overdose of LSD? I'd imagine the trip would vaguely resemble this show.

I watched the episode where those girls from Ultraprison get there and they have a ball and stuff...
