That would have been hella manly. I think the bartender was sensible enough not to furnish me with what essentially would have been a molotov cocktail in a crowded bar though.

Both right. Lord of War -- good quote Aramor -- was, IMO, a very good movie. I don't think Nick Cage has done anything worthwhile since that film.

i remember really enjoying, like, the first half of the flick, and then i think it went downhill. it's a common predicament in Hollywood movies, too.

That's a good point, I think. The tail-end of the movie started to drag. I wish there was no Jared Leto character, but I think it was "based" on a real-life person and it is hard to tell a life story under 2 hours. I did really like large chunks of this movie. Nick Cage just hasn't picked good roles after this film... Bangkock Dangerous? Crap. Next? PFFFT!
