So... what are your plans on the night of one of the more interesting days of the year? Parties? Movie marathons? Visting "haunted" places? Candy?
Any of you dressing up? And please explain your costume if so.
As for myself, Im going to a party, then I'm going with my 3 closest friends for a couple of horror movies at whomever's residence. My costume however has not been decided upon, yet. One of my ideas is to wear Joker make-up, a red wig, and a nurse outfit. _________________ Only the strongest will survive.

We're having a departmental ball, where the idea (pretty geeky, i'll grant you) is to theme your costume around what you're working with. Since I research fish, I'm thinking of putting an Abe Sapien costume together. The only problem I can foresee is having to go to the bathroom while wearing a wetsuit. _________________ Da Fro-mastah of da aLp Forums!

In Atak, the "club" I work we're having a Halloween special. Since we've already got a band performing on the 31st, we're doing it on the first of november. Which comes in handy, since saturdays we always have a DJ providing the music and nothing more. Anyway, yesterday me and two others made a coffin, and we're gonna make another one for the DJ to put his equipment in. Some other people are busy with making wooden bats and pumpkins, and we're gonna hang up ghosts, just simple white sheets and stuff. I believe there's also gonna be a cocktailbar with drinks that look icky.
I still haven't decided on my costume though. It's gonna be a bit unoriginal to put on my helmet and gasmask again, so I'll have to come up with something else. _________________

I am supposed to go to a Halloween party tomorrow (Saturday) at a coworker's house, but my grandmother's 95th birthday party is being held on the same day.
I will probably still be able to stop by, but I am debating whether to put effort into a costume or not. I was thinking that The Joker is a good idea, but another coworker is already going with that idea. meh _________________ Context is everything. |

Whip out the old Ghostbuser outfit.
And although it's old for Aramor, I'm bringing out the old gas mask and trench coat. Also because Aramor complained last year this time I have a gun and more fiddly bits. _________________

Awesome. Funny though, you're probably going for a more PA Raider look, while I'd like to look like Bruce Willis in Planet Terror. _________________

This last Saturday I set up the Cub Scouts Halloween party. It was a pain to set up, but the kids loved it, so it was worth it. For Halloween I think we're gonna go trick or treating. I never get holidays off, but this year I got Halloween off. So I think after trick or treating, I'm gonna put the kid to bed, probobaly at grandmas and then go party. My friend's having a party at her house, and it's been too long since I've gotten out of the house for purely selfish reasons.
I've decided to be totally unoriginal and go for the Devil costume. On the brigh side, even though it's unoriginal, it's totally slutty which pretty much guarantees I'll have a good time. |

Well I'm gonna dress-up as the Wolf Man and pass out candy, and watch Monsters HD all day. You know, that old chesnut. I'm so proud of my costume this year! I bought a mask with a movable jaw and a pair of werewolf gloves from Halloween Adventure Mascarade down the street from Union Square. I also had my Grandma make me a 'dickie' out of fur to ware over my chest under a flanal shirt. It looks fuckin' great! _________________ WHY YOU GOTTA BREAK BALLS? |

I'm going to work.
Until ten.
Yeah, it sucks.
However, I am ALSO dressing up in a blue silk shirt with Chinese dragon designs, one of those conical rice-farmer and/or Raiden from MK hats, a Guy Fawkes mask, and a set of pan pipes.
Costumes with themes are so last decade. _________________ Why must the government repress our god-given right to no pants? |

She actually visited my old middle school last year for some award's ceremony, my sister goes there now. Where do you live in Alaska? I'm in/near Anchorage.
I'm also going to be a ninja. Not one of those black jump suit ninjas, but the kind that you see from anime's or some BS like that, except maybe less gay, and without the headband. It's so unoriginal that no one does it now, so if I use it now, it'd be original.
...Right? |

I went to buy my costume, I apparently left my luck back at the house when I found out that they were not retailing any few of my costume ideas.

I'm actually near Hatcher's Pass. It's quite lovely out here. Cold, full of snow (not yet actually), and windy as hell. But the view's great. |

| Over here I was expecting a lot of snow when I got back from Cavite in the Philippines... but there barely is any. In fact I can look outside right now and it'd look like a summer day, except for the few white spots on my lawn. |

I will more than likely be grading test from my ninth grade class and drinking while doing so. I may dress up (down?) during school, though. Since I can't wear the costume that I really like because I haven't bought it yet (and because it would be inappropriate) and because I work at a Jewish school, I'll just have to figure out what I can and can't do.
So the only certain thing is that I'll be grading tests. I'm so much fun! _________________ "Yeast devil! Back to the oven that baked you!" |
