I hadn't seen a thread like this and thought it could be fun. Basically, this is a spiteful thread where you exert your spite. Here, I'll start:

As a scientist that "works" with animals, I have to submit protocol applications to an entity on campus known as "IACUC". The purpose of IACUC is to acertain that I am operating under appropriate and ethical guidelines in the treatment of animals and, likewise, preserving life where possible while reducing unecessary pain and suffering. In principle, I have no problem with this. In reality, I do. For the past few years, the current administration at my respective university has been making a power grab and attempting to put itself in a position where it can critique the science of the application. The current director is not a scientist, nor does he have any sort of appropriate degree. However, my current protocol application is now topping 23 pages. This may not seem alot to some, however, in the grant that is to be submitted, we are permitted about 12 pages to describe the experiments in THEIR entirety. Anyway, I submitted my protocol application and it was returned with 3 pages of questions/comments/accusations). In discussing this with the director, he stated that they want me to revise the protocol (at the time it was only 18 pages) resubmit it and address each question in a separate letter -- because the committee doesn't want to re-read the ENTIRE application...

Oh yes, I did. As stated above my protocol now is at 23 pages. My response letter? 38! Yeah, THAT just happened. I feel better, already.

Well, monday I got fined for riding my bicycle at night without any sort of lights, which is the first time in years, since I actually never have any lights on my bike. Anyway, the cop told me I had to walk the rest of the way home, but when he was out of sight, I got back on my bike... without any lights!

Yeah, not so impressive but I can't really think of anything else.

I lied on my tax returns and mailed the FBI a prank package full of rabid badgers.

Also, I stole candy from sarah palin's children.

...

Now, if you want me to be SERIOUS about it...

I jaywalk regularly and download music.

About all I can attest to, since generally I'm sort of under the radar of most law-enforcement people.

I do graffiti recreationally.

I stream movies occasionally.

I have used torrents before.

I've dealt 'under the table'

I've succumbed to my pyromania on derelict structures (thrice).

I've exploited nearly every loophole in all the contracts I've been assigned with.

I share CD-keys with my friends (unaccounted for Spore, though)

I sneak things aboard planes that are not supposed to be there (not bombs, I don't deal like that Razz )

I sneak food into the local theater.

I play loud music loudly.

I have contraband in my house, all hidden in an OCD manner.

I rarely leave the safety on (take that gun control! [although I do leave them unloaded, clip and chamber checked]).

Spoiler:
I've defied my childhood church so much that a preacher nick-named me 'Azrael', the Islamic Archangel of Death. (Even I thought that's too much for a rowdy 7-year old). He still calls me that to this day.

Hmmm... while some of your topics are sticking it to the man, some of that is more akin to simple criminal behavior, Az. Not exactly sticking it to the man. What is "dealt under the table"? Back in my day, working "under the table" meant that you weren't on the payroll, got paid in cash with no benefits or taxation. Likewise, burning random things is more of a psychological issue than something originating in spite. Also, not really something I'd brag about. As for the gun safty thing, boy, you livin' life on the edge. Laughing

The intent was to show menial things that someone might be upset about. Like leaving the safety off would upset people who like guns with the safety on. But when in use I am pretty careful and I do have the safety on when it's loaded, because I don't want to accidentally shoot Marvin in the face.

Being paid 'under the table' is pretty much stuff done under the radar, well not really illegal, just a bit shady, although it is honest business. Smile

And pyromania is just frowned upon by society, even though burning small isoloated buildings leaves no victim, people still hate that for some reason.

i consistently fail to make an impression during a job interview, thus showing the finger to the career-obsessed consumer society and continuing on my way to becoming a hobo with a golden heart.

I'd say that counts as pretty stupid.

Yeah, true... but I'm not gonna walk home, that's a pretty long walk. Especially when you're drunk.

On a sidenote, when I said drive I meant ride my bike, since I don't own a car.

It's a well-known fact.

Everyone has issues, it's just mine are different and I confess many of them blatantly.

Well I often explain what my problems are, but I rarely tell of my activities unless it's something that I feel comfortable with telling.

Arson is it's own excuse.

I can't think of anything that I've done in a long time, that could be said to be(keeping this audience in mind) more harmless rebellion against an unfair establishment, than tasteless provocation and plain criminal activity.

Except maybe fashioning a half a foot long, fairly realistic penis out of sheet metal, then welding & strapping it to a security camera.

Maybe.
