I only have erotic nightmares.
So far, angry oranges have not been featured in them, but there's been something like a few digit avatars back in them (latex clad masked figures lounging in decadent chairs) a few times. _________________ The Justified Ancient of Mu Mu |

Oh, and "erotic nightmares" don't sound much better than regular nightmares.

Digitaaliklosetti is the Renaissance.
The Renaissance was kinda gay.
Therefore, Digitaaliklosetti is kind of gay.

Therefore, cows are jam. | And thus you've proven my argument invalid. Weirdly it doesn't matter what the truth value of the argument is, but the form which determines its validity. If the form allows true premises to form a false conclusion, the argument is invalid.

Nah, he did not properly form his conditional statements. It should be more like:
cows imply nice
jam implies nice
From these, we cannot logically conclude that cows imply jam, because we would need the converse of the second statement.
In set theory language, the set "cows" and the set "jam" may be two discrete subsets of the set "nice." (See the Venn diagram below.)
However, Digitaaliklosetti implies the Renaissance, the Renaissance implies kinda gay, therefore Digitaaliklosetti implies kind of gay, is a valid syllogism.

I'm working with some damn basic logic in the course I'm taking. Anyway, what I said was what the professor and the book tell.
Your analysis makes more sense. Did you take a couple courses on Logic? _________________

I've never taken a class specifically dedicated to logic, but it's impossible to avoid in any college-level math curriculum. Many people first see it in high school geometry, even. _________________ Context is everything. |

That last one isn't always true.

Ha! You're so totally mistaken!
