Just saw it. Even better than the first film (which I thought was very good). It has a more colorful look to it, similar to the comic book, but still retained its image and stayed true to the style of the franchise. A problem the first film had was that it was swimming in an ocean of Hellboy lore, which if you are not familiar with, you may have been left at wtf?. This film had a more independent story, so things were much easier to accept and understand.
It had alot of good action, had more drama in it, and had alot of lol moments in it. My few gripes with it; it rushes itself, but only a little bit. And although Doug Jones performance as Abe Sapien was good, David Hyde Pierce from the previous film had a better voice-over.
I give this one 8 right hands of doom out of 10.

I think I'm gonna see it tomorrow. I can't wait and I'm glad people who liked the first one are liking it. _________________ You forget one thing: rock crushes scissors. But paper covers rock... and

From one guy I heard it was shit, but from another guy I heard it was really good. I think I'm going to see it.
I wasn't sure about it when I first saw the trailer though. |

They did play "Mein Herz Brennt" in the original trailer, which is my favorite Rammstein song. _________________ Only the strongest will survive.

Okay I just say it today. I love it. It doesn't take itself too seriously, and that's what makes what would otherwise be a mess of a film a truly fun ride. _________________

I agree with the positives posted about this movie. I saw it a few weeks ago and really enjoyed this one, too. _________________ "If wishes were horses, we'd all be eating steak." |
