I just read in a Reader's Digest book that using beer to marinate meat can make the meat very tender.

Tried it, and WOW!

EXTREMELY tender meat Laughing

Just have to eat it and see whether I survive Shocked

The smoked porter I brewed is beefy-goodness. Definately, the best of both worlds, in liquid form.
