Hiya! Although I'm not a big Aliens fan, that is one badass costume. I have to ask, how long did it take to create?

Cheers for the warm welcome, guys!
I made the costume from a kit of parts, moulded from a screen-used Aliens costume. Although I used a kit, it still took me 6 months to put together. However, it's nowhere near finished...
It is very comfortable and the head isn't too heavy. I can easily wear it all day (but it causes funny looks when I walk round the supermarket!). Vision is tricky: You have to navigate by instinct alone!

Heheh, at least the guys on movie set had the directors to... uh... direct them. Some guy on the street my just lead you into a hotdog stand. |
