Nothing so epic, but... Tuesday home evening results in 51 bottles of Apricot Wheat.

This plus 44 bottles of Oatmeal Stout and 40 bottles of IPA... damn. Just Damn.

Nice... One of our local micro-breweries hosted an Irish Beerfest over the weekend. Stouts and ales from all over Ireland. Absolutely wonderful, and not a pint of Guinness in sight.

Sounds like a great time. This is going to be my 4th brew. After a little over four weeks, my IPA turned out ok. Not spectacular, not bad, relatively mild. I was very impressed with the oatmeal stout at 2 weeks and I haven't tried the Apricot Wheat as it has only been in bottles for about a week. After taking the initial hydrometer reading 1.048 @ 67 degrees, I may have my first 5% on my hands. Tastes like it will be good.

Thanks. The Wiff's pictures don't really do the stretch in Arizona justice. As for your comment regarding our left-hand cars.... I held back but I should have pointed out that "bonnet" in America... is something farm girls wear on their hood. We call it the part of the car a "hood". Very Happy

Actually, Mini calls their hoods "bonnets".

Sweet. This is a rather good shot of Munster's 16th man at the European Cup Final in Cardiff a few weeks ago. We apparently made up over 70% of the attending crowd.

In Wales. That shot encompasses roughly a third of one of the sides to the stadium. The official capacity is around 75,000 people.
