The new film was an utter disappointment. It was worse than the flop of a first film in every way. People seem to think its sad excuse of action and gore is what saved this film from total failure. I however found the actio overdone and very overexposed to keep the upset fanboys from leaving their seats. Sadly, I was one of those desperate fanboys.

People come to see these films with such high expectations, that once they realize tat this movie is terrible, they refuse to believe that. They like the movie because they wanted to like it, not because they actually did enjoy it.

I've said that before about movies I did not like but other people did. It's funny how it changes when it comes to a movie I actually wanted to see. But whether it was me really liking the movie, or me wanting to like it...

I don't know. But screw it, I had fun watching AvP:R, so isn't that what's important?

I second Az. I mean, I admit it's not the most brilliant, gobsmacking, jaw-dropping movie ever (which is Werewolf Women of the SS btw) but I was entertained!

Well if they make AvP 3, there might be good change to see one. Imagine a movie where predator community is been infested by facehuggers and aliens.
