Very funny - when I was in Indonesia, I got so irritated by all the ways in which tourist information books and guidebooks will tell you "the Indonesians love...", "Javanese men like their this or that" etc. etc. etc.

Hm. That's kind of humorous.

However, only about five of those things applied to me, and most of those were probably coincidences. I know plenty of people who like Tenacious D and Weird Al Yankovich and I find it a little irritating that whoever made this is given full right to generalize. It's like "WELL ALL WHITE PEOPLE R TEH RACIST TO THEM BLACKS AN ASIANS AN LATINOS SO IT'LL BE HILARIOUS IF I DO IT TO THEM HAHAHAHA."

Some examples: I despise dogs. I think Sarah Silverman is an irritating bitch. I think there are plenty of places far more interesting than Japan.

And also, I've got a Jamaican friend. Since when happening to have a black friend trying to make up for years of mistreatment and stupidity for people I have no relation to?

Pointless generalizations are racism, and it doesn't make a difference if it's directed at white people or otherwise. Even if this person is white or if it's meant to be tounge-in-cheek, it'll just promote stupid clichés and will only lead to pointless conflict.
