That ain't their homeworld. 
The Aliens have had other species names, as well - in the comics they're referred to as Linguafoeda Acheronsis once or twice, and the Alien Quadrilogy DVD set calls them something like Ictus Raptus or something like that; I'd have to check the DVD.

Not that anyone cares but the aliens from the Species series were genetic creations from another race that sent so called blue prints to earth. I do not know any further info on this except that the aliens that gave us the blue prints for the "Species" might actuley be extinct, and for the mars incident they could of been either planted there to be found or just to get rid of. Now on the planted theory the aliens might have sent 'em the blue prints to wipe out earth though... didnt seem to work since we had it under control... sort of.
Edit:and know the species do not have a name as far as Alien, Xenomorph(basicly clasiphies an otherwordly creature), and E.T. and i do think the species was also a Biological weapon sortof... gotta go watch it again.
