not sure how the things are where you live but in our corner of the world we give each other gifts on evening the 24th, after the christmas eve supper which is the highest point of our x-mas celebrations.
so i can already list my overall loot this year:
PJ Harvey To Bring You My Love
Johnny Cash At Folsom Prison
U2 Achtung Baby, baby! finally on cd.
The Sandman "The Kindly Ones" vols 1&2 (coz it was published here this way)
a green sweater, which doesn't fit too well
a lot of chocolate, at least a lot for my standards
a decent amount of cash
i find this year's loot pretty amazing especialy since it's so strong on cds and god knows there's no better present for me. i made sure my family knows it too.
now list yours! _________________ i have no time for anal love

I think most folks give their gifts on Christmas morning. I know what some of mine are anyway, since I bought them. _________________

I don't celebrate Christmas. My wife and I exchange gifts on New Years eve. Although this year she gave me my gift early. The Alien Quadrilogy. Soooooo many cool behind-the-scenes featurettes. _________________ "I do not feel obliged to believe that the same God who has endowed us with sense, reason, and intellect has intended us to forgo their use."

Pretty good haul this year.
-A vinyl player (!!!)
-Some chocolates
-Some nice woolen socks
-A box of Backwoods cigars (Nice)
-A leather hole making thingy (I needed this)
-Altered Carbon by Richard Morgan. It's like a cyperpunky detective story. Pretty cool I hope. _________________ bitchez n hose |

Everybody needs those... I actually believe we have two of those lying around the house somewhere...
Anyway, we don't celebrate Christmas, but my Christmas eve consisted of hanging up decorations for the big Christmas party in Atak, the place where I always go out. I was only busy from 9 pm till 6 this morning... _________________

I'm interested, Spidey...
But anyways, on my part, my friends gave me alot of CD's. A pretty decent amount of cash, and a couple gift cards. From my parents, not too much. _________________ Only the strongest will survive.

So apparently, due to a drunken conversation between me, my dad and my sister's husband, in which opinions on authority figures and music were found to match, I'm gonna get a late present of a whole metric fuckbunch of old rock vinyls. Like Led Zeppelin, Motörhead, Blue Öyster Cult, Accept, Hurriganes and the like.
My penis is furiously erect from sheer excitement and fanboy joy. Also this means I'll have three copies of The House of Blue Light. Anyone want one?
Seriously I could sink ships with this. _________________ bitchez n hose |

He's great. I would have to say that, of the novels by him I've read, Lamb just might be the best. You choose wisely. _________________ Why must the government repress our god-given right to no pants? |

I've already mentioned the Kahlua chocolates and monkey shower curtain. I also have a bottle of amaretto, a rain check for a Wii and a couple of Wii-related things, and some other stuff.
Just need to get an ice cube tray so I can drink the amaretto... _________________ "Yeast devil! Back to the oven that baked you!" |

Got some 40K figures and terrain pieces, clothes for work, several books, a backpack, money, beef jerky, chianti, and other stuff. Perhaps the most touching present was a quilt that my (now dead) grandmother had made for me 20 years ago; I guess my mom found it and wrapped it up. _________________ Context is everything. |

Angelus is Jesus! |
I doubt that - would Jesus fail to turn up at the first irl aLp convention?
But I had a nice time anyway, smoking sheesha, drinking an almond milkshake - pictures will be posted when I get back. _________________ The Justified Ancient of Mu Mu |

I KNOW! 50 hours of bonus footage! I got the Quadrilogy when it came out a couple years ago. _________________ You forget one thing: rock crushes scissors. But paper covers rock... and

Yeah. Like, can you imagine Jesus going "Sorry I didn't turn up, I had.. other plans".
Anyways Munan, apologies for not being able to make it that time, though I sure hope we'd be able to meet soon _________________ Certified Evil Bastard. Serving your cuppa at Starbucks Terminal One Arrival Hall, Singapore. The one who started Premium Evil's tea. |
