In the spirit of Halloween, I thought I'd reccomend "Rise" starring Lucy Liu. It wasn't bad. It is a different sort of take on vampires. Though the flashbacks were a little confusing at first, the movie settles down once you understand that there are flashbacks.
Not particularly scary although I was scared earlier when I heard of the "new" couple -- Lance Armstrong and Ashley Olsen. EEwwwwww! |

| Mako has a small role... as did Lucy's naked chest. Not Oscar-worthy, as I've mentioned, but still worth the $3 for rental. |
