Authentic AVP Masks!!!

Hey I just traded a guy some stuff for some authentic AVP Predator masks. He is a friend of mine and he works for the actual studio who makes the props and things like that for the Predator movies (he is working on Predator 3 right now!).

Anyways I want to sell them on eBay and wanted to know if you guys could help me spread the word online that I have these things.

I.E. what are the more popular forums for Predator movies? Or what group should I be telling that I have these things?

I will post the ebay link after I get the word spread about me having these for sale but, I don't want to list them just yet...

Remember guys this is the real deal!! I should also be getting a couple more things from him soon as well. I want the Predator One mask he has and he has the gloves (claws) that I want real bad because they look crazy. he also has some Chronicles of Riddick stuff and Stargate stuff.

Nope he is calling it Predator 3. I have seen footage of my friend (who I got the masks from) in the suite testing it for Predator 3!!!!

He was testing the flow of the hair and something about the background on the set. I am excited abotu it but he says about 2 years till release...


Crazy the stuff you come by when you live near Hollywood....

And, your friend could possibly get in trouble for leaking such information.

EDIT: And speaking of which, why would ADI allow a employee to sell company property? Even though they may not be using it anymore, I doubt they would want it in the hands of someone else. Studios usually destroy this stuff, or sell it for a nice few grand instead of just giving it to someone for a trade and put it on ebay.

They gave it to an employee (my friend) and yes they do sell the stuff. He sold a full suite for $5k last year. That's why i have to keep some of the info under wraps because my friend can get in trouble for giving me the masks.

Anyways about P3 that's what he told me so i have no reason not to believe it I am sure you could find more info on the movie somewhere else.

P3 is still a rumor. Even the FOX officials neither confirm nor deny this.

If your friend is going to be in trouble with the masks, then you probably shouldn't of posted your advertisement on The Lair. They've got connections to places like ADI, heh.

EDIT: Seems the boys over at the Lair rightfully called you out. I think a mod should remove this thread. But thats just me.

Well... arent I glad I stumbled across this thread ....


for starters these are NOT screen used or from the film at ALL!!!!!

How do I know this??? becasue I sculpted the replica AVP Pred helmet in the pics above myself.. I have proof that its mine as I have the pictures of the very helmet about in the stages I sculpted so.. one things for sure here ,, the guy you got the gear form is full of s**t and another, I know Tom Woodruff and Alec at ADI too..

yeah when you read the 'entire thread' which I did before I posted,, yes its plain as day,, but like I said, I'm the sculptor of some of this stuff so it got my back up.. see it from my side instead of postin lousy comments like you have.

I'm a respected member on the Hunters lair and on several other well known prop boards.. I dont expect to come here and get treated like an idiot..
