Getting new pants because Fallout 3 blew ours off or something.
So all together now! One, two...
Maybe you'll think of me when you are all alone...
*Cue next*
Also on that note does anyone know if Mark Morgan is coming back for '3? _________________

Imdb says no* so far, I'm guessin' Aramor knows one way or the other. I'd put my money on Jeremy Soule. He did OK on Dawn of War and Sup Com (and KOTOR!). I was playing Planescape about a month ago, and it made me realise that I rather miss Morgan's distinctive electronic sound.
*Holy schmidt, he worked on Shark Attack 2! The only film worse than yep, you guessed it. _________________

Maybe, the one who, is waiting... for you... will prove... untrue... theeeeeeeeen what will... you doooo?
Maaaaaaaybeeee, you'll sit... and decide... wishing that I were near... then, maybe... you'll ask me... to come back... agaaaaaaaaain aaaand maybe, I'll say... maaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaybe!!!
Yeah, anyway, I don't really know who's working on Fallout 3... check out No Mutants Allowed. There's probably a lot more info there.
But yeah, if you ask me, I'd maybe like a system like in Tictacs... where you still use action points but everything still goes real-time... but you do have the option to do turn-based combat. _________________

I like tictacs, but I think Orbit Gum is always better... |

Yes, developers should encourage players to be creative. And not through glitches or such. |
Of course, glitches are what make the world go 'round. |

I'm a big fan, I'd have to say. Get yourself the patch though, if you're planning on playing much of it - the original release was buggy as hell. _________________ Da Fro-mastah of da aLp Forums!

I made a straight fighting character, the magic seems bland and weak. I might leave it a while anyway, and restart. I suspect Episode 2, Halo 3, Crysis, Mass Effect and others shall be occupying my time for the next few months. _________________

Apparently I am the only one who can use quotations correctly, though.

i'd like to go back to the discussion about the turn-based system.
well, there was this simple system used in both fallout tactics and baldur's gate, it worked really fine. the game is 'real time' on a turn based basis, so u cant hit whenever u feel. like wow, kind of. there's also the pause button, cause things get pretty chaotic. i just think that turn based combat is too slow... i did enjoy jagged alliance 2 though, and played through fallout 1 and 2. |
