Nope. Imma get one for my 21st birthday. I figured since I have a low tolerence for pain and a fear of needles I'll get drunk before I get inked.
Hopefully one of my friends will be sober enough to explain what I want to be done. Hopefully.

Shouldn't do that. For one thing, the artist shouldn't work on you if you're plastered, and secondly alcohol thins your blood and stops it clotting.

It's only kinda sore for the first half an hour anyway - after that the endorphins kick in and you don't really feel it. A mate of mine goes to sleep during long sessions. Every time - well funny.

Is it wrong to say that I can totally see Aurelyn's pubes? Or is that something that's apart of the tattoo? I can't tell but I love how there are 2 black fishies and then in the corner that little white fish just pops right up to say hello. It's really nice. Are you going to get the rest of your leg done Aure or is that it?

Thanks Spidey  The plan is to move up around the back and top of the thigh onto the side of the arse and up around the iliac crest and onto the lower abdomen. Since I work on the boundary between forest and river I thought it would be a nice idea to base a tattoo around - I'll continue the motif I've used already but bring it from water to root to branch, which the curve of the pelvis should suit nicely. It's unlikely I'll extend downwards any further than the knee, but you never know...
Distressingly, upon re-examination of the pictures it appears that my pubes are kind of gingery in a certain light. Aaargh!
