I was planning on watching it the 5th of November, but I wanted to watch it now. Ah well, I'll watch it again then.

HEY! I take offense to that. I mean, sure, the plot and some of the acting could have used some work, and the allusions were rather heavy-handed, but the action was great, and it at least strove to teach a lesson.

You thought so? I thought the movie was okay, but it was too much of "Let's take themes from 1984, Fahrenheit 451, and other such books and give it a happy ending!" So it greatly annoyed me in that respect.
Back on topic, "There's Something About Mary" is on right now, but I'm thinking of putting on "The Magnificent Seven."

I hope you did put it on. It truly is magnificent. Especially the scene where Lee sees all the guys in the building, and overcomes his fear to burst in and take 'em all on. And yes, Equilibrium was OK, but also highly derivative. You are wise, Ipsa.

For all its flaws, I thought it was great. The Gun-kata were very very cool, and I really liked the visual style of the movie. It's just a shame it was so derivative.

I did watch it the other day. Makes me wish that I had "Seven Samurai" to accompany it and "Yojimbo" to go with my "A Fistful of Dollars."

Just saw Final Destination 2 (I saw Final Destination 1 this afternoon...) and I gotta say it's better than I remembered... plus it's got like 2 hot chicks playing a lead role.
