Yeah I guess I see it. But that's how I roll.
Besides, they couldn't possibly do it because the game jus continues what happens in the movies, and Connors was already cured from the thing... unless they magically discontinue whatever happened in the games, which means they have to bring in Vulture, Shocker, Human-Torch, Calypso, Wolverine, and Carnage into that... which the only one I'm okay with is Carnage... |

Since when are games considered the ultimate canon?
Anyway, yesterday a thought just popped in my head. Spidey keeps shooting his webs all over the city to swing around... but do those things dissipate or is half of New York covered in web by now? _________________

I'd say there must be a shite load of birds and low-flying aircraft caught in all the webbing at this stage... _________________ Da Fro-mastah of da aLp Forums!

| Likewise, all the apartment buildings that have structural damage for the chunks that are missing or from landing a long leap. Every third person is probably a contractor. |

| I think I've seen him retract like five of those webslings, out of 5000 a day. But that's only when he web-zips. Yeah, web-zipped in Spider-man 2 near the middle of the movie. |

His webbing only lasts an hour or so before it turns to dust. _________________ "I do not feel obliged to believe that the same God who has endowed us with sense, reason, and intellect has intended us to forgo their use."

The first teaser trailer for the first spiderman movie actually had a helicopter (from bandits who stole from the bank) get caught in a giant spiderweb between the world trade center. However, not long after was the terrorist attack on those buildings, and the trailer was not used anymore after that. Was still pretty awesome though. _________________ Back in action |

Ah ok. Thanks for clearing that up.
And indeed, the collateral damage to all the buildings... you think people are able to sue Spidey for that? _________________

How can they sue him? Here's what happened in one of the comics:
"Spidey, here's a check for 1,000,000 dollars!"
"Thanks!"
*goes to the bank*
"I'm sorry, do you have some kind of identification?"
"What do you mean? Look at me! I'm Spider-friggin'-man!"
"Anyone can wear a dumb costume. I.D.?"
"..."
Seriously, in the original series, that happened. So if they can't identify who they're suing, they don't know whose bank account to steal from. I don't even know if Spidey does have a bank account. I know Peter does but he's not going to be a dumbass and use that one... |

Yeah, but he had a Mr. infront of his name. That's got to be worth something.

Despite how confusing the movie was and how many WTFs it had... I still cried for Harry at the end of the movie.
Venom needed more screenplay though. _________________ Yours Queen of Cloud 9

| More screen time? Venom needs to be in the fucking sequel so Spidey won't get his ass kicked by Carnage. |

Continuity error: Venoms weakness was sound, correct? Well, I happen to know for a fact that mashing two steel bars together would be less than half as loud as a gunshot from the weapons that the SWAT teams were using (which appeared to be MP5s), so while they were shooting at Venom, shouldn't he have been grasping his head and trying to remain coherent throughout the assumed firefight scene? Gunshots are NOT quiet, and in an enclosed space would have been just as loud if not louder than Peter Parkers steel bar mashing. The SWAT were just having a bad day I guess... _________________

As far as I know from the series, the symbionts are only vulnurable against a certain type of soundwaves, such as the sound that the church bell made, or those long iron pipes. _________________ Back in action |

yeah the sorta metallic sounds, at least that's what the script-writers assumed. oh, well, at least they were consistent with this.
i recall Spider got a sonic gun from Mr Fantastic once in a comic to have a good argument against Venom. _________________ i have no time for anal love

in spiderman unlimited his suit is equipped with a sonic discharge system, because that's the series where he is chasing Venom and Carnage, who seem to have become friends. _________________ Back in action |
