I'm not a fan of Quentin Tarantino movies. He makes his moves like they have really bad ADD and then that messes with my head and it's hard to follow. The time jumps around like crazy, like it'll be 2 days before and then an hour later then like 20 minutes before, but across town. It wouldn't be a big deal to me, if he would just put that kind of info at the bottom of the screen during scene changes. There is nothing like "20 minutes ago.." ever. You have to figure that out on your own. I have I believe some form of ADD myself so it makes it difficult to concentrate on the whole movie just to figure out what's going on in the story line too. Out of all his movies, Pulp Fiction has to be the best, but IMO they all suck. Pulp Fiction at least has the guy that drives really fast. I want to drive that fast and not get into trouble. _________________

I could be wrong here, but that suitcase quite possibly contained my nuts.
But seriously, I don't think there is supposed to be any definitive answer here. If anything, I doubt it's something concrete (like my nuts). _________________ Context is everything. |

Anyhoo, Blaster, you really need to cut back on the rad intake if your nuts are glowing like that... _________________

Yeah, I meant you.
I loved the one in Fawlty Towers where he started marching and stuff in front of some germans. When I'm in a lame mood, I try to march just like that.
And yeah, if he has radio-active nuts, he'd probably walk like that... _________________

no, no, no, you are all wrong.
The Briefcase had Ving Rhames Golden Globe in it for portraying Don King.

The briefcase contains Marcellus Wallace's Soul. Wallace made a deal with the devil in echange for his soul. It is said that when the devil takes your soul, it is removed from the back of your neck, hence the bandage. The three "associates" of Marcellus in the apartment with the briefcase were the devil's helpers watching over it. This is why after Jules reads Ezekiel 25:17 and kills Brett, and the other guy unloads the hand cannon at Jules and Vincent without hitting them once, Jules says that they survived due to "divine intervention". God prevented the bullets from killing Jules and Vincent because they were taking out minions of the devil.
Or it could just be that Tarantino stuck an orange light bulb in the briefcase and that Ving Rhames was covering up the big ass scar he has on his neck. |

And I take it Mr. Redneck Rapist was send by God to punish Wallace? Which means Butch is actually also a henchman of the Devil... which is ofcourse obvious since he has a french girlfriend... no offense to any frenchies, it's just that school fucked up my way of thinking about france... _________________

They reveal years later that what was actually in the suitcase during filming was a light-brite.
Oh for the love, you don't know what a light-brite is? It's a game where a light behind a black screen lights up pegs as you push them through the screen.
Yes and the whole soul thing is the accepted idealology. _________________ "For those who believe, no explanation is necessary, for those who do not, none shall suffice." |

I would say gold, but if that suitcase was full of gold bricks there's no way in HELL he'd be toting it around like that - it'd be too fucking heavy. Maybe morphine? Diamonds? Shit, I don't know. |

But in the suitcase from the old movie it was call the "Head of Mudessa"(sp?). It burnt down a house in the end. _________________ "You're lucky attacking ends the spell or I would smack the crap out of all of you."

As you can probably already tell, I love Pulp Fiction. As an aspiring filmmaker myself, Quentin Tarentino is a huge inspiration for me, and Pulp Fiction is definately one of the best movies ever made.
Oh, and there's nothing in the beifcase but a lightbulb. Accept it... _________________
