Okay, I have a question.
How the hell do I gets the AVP games?! I've tried everywhere. I even tried going to eBay, and got screwed over.
And also, should I get them? How many people have them here? Are they awesome? I hope they're awesome. _________________ I'm outtie, y'all. Lates. |

I got AVP 1 when I bought my video card, long time ago, it was a bonus on top of it, so it was a very good purchase.
I just bought the second game in the video game store.
If you search a bit, you might be able to find the AVP2 gold pack in the "older game" section, or sales bin, it has AVP2 + the expansion, wich I never played, but I think it should be fairly fun.
I think AVP 2 is much better as 1, since it got rid of all the small things that were annoying. The pred got a decent way to recharge his energy, the alien headbite was far more doable in 2, and the marine weapons had several improvements, as well as Save option implemented in the game.
AVP1 didn't have a save option, so you could spend an entire mission being carefull and all, just to be killed in one simple shot by a marine/sentry gun somewhere in a dark corner. It sucked.
Anyway, I don't know where you live, so I can't help you further with tips to find it. _________________ Back in action |

They patched AVP so you could save a limited number of times in the level (possibly not on the highest difficulty setting, been a long time since I played it). And isREGRET, I found both games by just searching on online retailer sites, in less than a minute. Where are you from? _________________

I have AvP2 only. I liked it alot when I had it, but now all my online friends moved to other games, so we don't play it anymore... _________________ Only the strongest will survive.
