Knew about this for a while. Not meaning to insult. But I found it wierd that the trailer shows Mars. But still: COOL!!!!

I work at toys r us, baby! Of course I got a WII!!! I got the games that came with it, Zelda, Rayman, Monkey Ball, and thats it. I'm getting an Xbox 360 this christmas and you know I'm getting Gears of War!

I know! I seen it in action! Several times! And Twilight Princess was a fantastic game! I love my little WII. Except the graphic are tame compared to the PS3 and even Xbox 360.

This movie is one of those things that I have very low expectations for. Michael Bay sucks. Armageddon was horrible, The Rock was silly and stupid, and this Transformers movie will be a disaster.

It would have been so nice if they had gotten a real director with talent to do this right. Oh well. I'll still see it but I don't know that I'll enjoy it that much. (See, I had really low expectations for Batman Begins and I loved it...maybe if I do the same for this I won't be so disappointed when it bows donkey nads)

Well . . . that certainly looked . . . action packed.

A lot of action there. Knowing Michael Bay, 90% of it will be so blurry and indecipherable that it will make your average movie goer queasy. I hate when he shoots action sequences so up-close and shaky that you can't tell what the fuck is going on. Which he'll inevitably do here. He always does.

I'm still reserving judgment until I see it. I really, really hate Bay's style.

Keep in mind, this early critique of mine has nothing to do with the reinvention of the Transformers. I've come to terms with that and know that the potential for something that doesn't suck is there. I just think this movie would be a thousand times better in the hands of a director who isn't a one-trick pony. And, by keeping my expectations low, I'm more likely to actually avoid regretting spending the eight bucks to see this.

Fun little detail is, that they implemented the old transformation sound into the whole machine movie transformation sound, and it remains cool.

ah thanks.

As I kid, I didn't watch transformers on a regular basis, but I still loved it, but as it only showed on our french broadcast stations, I usually couldn't understand much from the series, nor remember lots of names and all.

So for me, the movie is probably not going to give my childhood memories any problems.

Too bad there won't be dinobots tho. But then again, they were pretty much insane.
